The Landmark Comedy Night attracted a full house for an evening of stand-up featuring Rob Rouse, Sam Avery and Travis Booth-Millard, with the event hosted by retired comedian and A Rush Of Laughter owner Adam Rushton.
With a packed audience, a buzzing bar and plenty of laughs from start to finish, the event proved a huge hit with comedy fans in Burnley.
Headlining the night was Rob Rouse, one of the UK’s most established live comedians and a familiar face from BBC’s Upstart Crow, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Dave’s One Night Stand.
A hugely experienced performer who has entertained audiences around the world for more than 27 years, Rob was recently named Comics’ Comic Best Act at the UK Comedy Awards 2025 and Best Act at the Yorkshire Comedy Awards 2025.
At the start of his set, Rob praised The Landmark’s unique character, describing it as a combination of a business centre and a Hogwarts-style venue all in one.
He was joined by award-winning stand-up and bestselling author Sam Avery, whose comedy has taken him to sold-out venues across the UK. Sam has also amassed more than 15 million views for his online videos and is a regular contributor to national radio including TalkSport, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 5 Live.
Completing the line-up was rising comedy talent Travis Booth-Millard, who has quickly made his mark on the UK circuit. Travis won the Coggeshall Comedy Cup 2025 and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024.
Adam Rushton, from A Rush Of Laughter, said: “It was a fantastic night, great acts and Burnley, you smashed it out of the park tonight. We are going to do another one, so keep your eyes peeled.”
