The Landmark has been announced as an exciting new venue for Burnley LIVE, adding further momentum to the town’s ever-growing celebration of live music.

The popular three-day festival returns this May, kicking off on Friday 1st May, with The Landmark hosting a vibrant afternoon of live performances on Sunday 3rd May from 2pm to 8pm.

A fantastic line-up of artists has already been confirmed for The Landmark, presented by Init Music, including DJ Sam Cheyte, Nina Salorian, Steve Walton and Sean Toms.

Nina brings an energetic solo-acoustic performance style, blending layered vocal harmonies with guitar effects across a mix of indie, pop, folk, soul and rock classics spanning decades. Steve is known for his warm, soulful acoustic sound, delivering a diverse repertoire that enhances any occasion. Sean will perform a wide-ranging selection of acoustic pop and rock, covering artists from Sam Cooke to Paolo Nutini and Bruce Springsteen. The event will close with chilled house music from DJ Sam Cheyte.

This marks the first time the Grade II listed former Burnley Grammar School has taken part in Burnley LIVE. Its inclusion follows an impressive £2.5 million restoration project led by owner Mark Crabtree OBE, bringing new life to one of Burnley’s most historic buildings.

There is a strong musical heritage behind The Landmark. Mark Crabtree is also the owner of AMS Neve, a globally renowned Burnley-based company that has been delivering world-class sound recording equipment for over 60 years. From its 60,000 square metre complex, AMS Neve supplies cutting-edge audio technology to some of the most creative professionals in the world, reinforcing Burnley’s reputation for excellence in sound.

This deep-rooted connection to music makes The Landmark a natural fit for Burnley LIVE. The venue is also home to Radio Burnley, further strengthening its ties to the local and wider music scene.

Performances will take place in The Lounge at The Landmark, an intimate and atmospheric performance space with its own private bar.

Heather McCarthy, Events Manager at The Landmark, said: “We are incredibly proud to be one of the venues for Burnley LIVE. It’s an event that has grown and grown over the years, and we are absolutely delighted to now be part of the circuit. Come and join us for a fantastic afternoon and evening of live music.”

The Landmark’s addition forms part of what promises to be an outstanding weekend of live music across Burnley, showcasing a diverse mix of talent and venues throughout the town.
